Universal's Cabana Bay Beach Resort

Retro summertime vibes

A throwback to the colourful Floridian beach resorts of the 50s and 60s, this great value, family-friendly option is walkable to Universal’s Volcano Bay.

You’ll arrive at this oversized motel to a kaleidoscope of colour and vintage styling and step into a palm-studded lobby decked out in mid-century style. The retro theming continues throughout the hotel, into the neon-lit ten-lane bowling alley, the huge quick-service Bayliner Diner, and the cerulean guestrooms. Find a spot beneath a jauntily striped parasol (or treat yourself and hire a cabana) around one of the two pools, or float around the lazy river on an inflatable. This is a family fun time resort at its finest.

Why we love Universal's Cabana Bay Beach Resort

  • This is the only Universal hotel to feature a lazy river, adding to two pools, a waterslide, and an interactive water play area.

  • There’s a direct walkway to Universal Volcano Bay and complimentary shuttle buses to Universal Studios Florida, Universal Islands of Adventure, and Universal CityWalk.

  • There’s a ten-lane bowling alley for family fun, and you can grab a bite before or after at the Galaxy Bowl Restaurant.

  • Guests of this resort get Early Park Admission to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
