Beverly Wilshire - A Four Seasons Hotel
Legendary as it is luxurious
The ‘Pretty Woman’ of Hollywood hotels, Beverly Wilshire is a magnet for anyone with a crush on movie star glam.
Forever a landmark hotel, Beverly Wilshire knows how to combine the classic with the contemporary. It’s got oodles of old-style elegance but also a high-energy ambience that attracts next-gen natives to its Rodeo Drive sidewalk. Inside, you’re privy to life’s little luxuries. Service everywhere is a slick operation. Out on the terrace, everything is a glitterati affair. Attendants are on hand with Evian spritz and shots of juice by a glorious swimming pool modelled on Sophia Loren’s own pool at her Mediterranean home. An ornate porte-cochère and a stately gate inspired by the ones found at Buckingham Palace separate the wings, which tells you just how much regal thought has gone into this hotel.
Why we love Beverly Wilshire - A Four Seasons Hotel
-
The Michelin-recommended Wolfgang Puck restaurant, slinky pool and Rodeo Drive location cater to every whim
-
The lobby nods to Renaissance Revival style with oversized floral arrangements, a jewel-like chandelier and gilded elevators where the Instagram-crowd flock for photos
-
Photo shoots with a celebrity photographer, acting in a short film at a studio or becoming a 'Pretty Woman' for a day of fashion with a personal stylist are just some of the exclusive experiences available here
-
As you would expect from the Four Seasons brand, the service here is exceptional
Facilities
You’ll be dining at one of Hollywood’s most in demand steakhouses; Michelin-recommended CUT by virtuoso Wolfgang Puck. Or snag a spot at The BLVD's 18-foot onyx bar for Champagne in Art Deco surrounds.
The BLVD
With its patio overlooking Rodeo Drive, The BLVD is one of LA's most iconic restaurants serving Californian cuisine.
CUT
Worthy of its Michelin recommendation, Wolfgang Puck has created a menu adding a modern twist on classic seafood and steak dishes.
The Pool Bar & Café
Keeping you refreshed with poolside snacks and pitchers of sangria.
The BLVD Lounge
Take your seat at the 18 foot onyx bar where the Feeling Pretty, inspired of course by Pretty Woman, is just one of the signature cocktails.
CUT Lounge
Enjoy a pre or post dinner drink in the sophisticated setting of this stylish lounge.
The signature dishes at The BLVD include black truffle gnocchi and chilled sealife platters.
From cryotherapy and reflexology to detox body treatments and sleep-inducing massages, the treatments at the spa are tailored to your individual needs. Afterwards, unwind in the eucalyptus steam room, get the blood pumping with a visit to the ice fountain before choosing a Cold Mist, Atlantic Storm or Caribbean Rain experience shower.
Maintain your exercise regime with a visit to the fitness centre where you'll find cardio equipment and weights. Private personal trainer sessions can also be arranged.
To maximise your time, personal shoppers are available to whisk you to the designer boutiques on Rodeo Drive or you may prefer the 'Pretty Woman for a Day' experience where you'll go behind the scenes at the fashion houses with a personal stylist. Immerse yourself completely in the Hollywood glamour with the chance to become an actor in a short film at the Supergiant Studios and after that arrange a photo shoot with a celebrity photographer.
Sophia Loren's Mediterranean swimming pool was the inspiration behind the pool here. Unwind in a private cabana where the attendants are on hand to bring you refreshments.
Four Seasons has an established sustainability programme. Water is conserved, single- use plastics have been eliminate and eco-certified cleaning products are used.
The restaurants use locally sourced produce and cage free eggs in their seasonal menus. Working through local non-profits, old uniforms and linens are donated to nearby communities and you'll find many of the art work on display throughout the hotel is from local artists and sculptors.
