There are tea and coffee-making facilities in your tent if you want an early morning cuppa. After breakfast, you will board a speed boat near Takua Pa to explore the mangrove forest. This primeval swamp is a maze of channels, and your guide will point out the fascinating wildlife and colourful birdlife that can be found here. You will cruise the channels to board a classic Burmese junk for lunch. After lunch, if you wish, you can self-paddle by canoe through the mangrove creeks before being transferred back to camp. After freshening up, enjoy local entertainment before dinner. Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.

Cheow Larn Lake
Today, after breakfast you will explore Cheow Larn Lake onboard a local long-tail boat. Cheow Larn Lake is a haven for wildlife where you may encounter wild elephants, the rare Asian ox, monkeys, reptiles and plenty of tropical birds. The setting is dramatic with mountains rising out of the water. Head to the floating Elephant Hills Rainforest Camp where you will check into your luxury tent before enjoying a buffet of Thai dishes for lunch. After lunch, you will join a guided hike deep into the jungle. The trail can be steep and slippery, but it is worth the effort to see the ecology of the one of the world’s oldest rainforests. There is a wide variety of flora and fauna here from tropical orchids to giant hardwood trees. Look out for butterflies, macaques and hornbills as you continue your trek. Returning to camp, watch the sun set behind the limestone mountains before heading to dinner. Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.
