The standard of service here is what sets the tone for Banyan Tree resorts around the world – each and every therapist attends the prestigious Banyan Tree Spa Academy Phuket or the second academy in Bintan. There is a wide range of services including traditional Thai healing treatments inspired by those therapies that have been handed down through the generations; and time-honoured Eastern signature treatments. Alongside the popular treatments such as facials, body scrubs and massages there’s a yoga schedule starting with sunrise yoga and ending with sunset meditation.
The newly introduced Banyan Tree Wellbeing Sanctuary Phuket is a bespoke concept with a focus on self-care and wellness breaks. In the Wellbeing Centre, 50 activities are offered to guests. These include Nutrition for Vitality sessions, core Pilates, yoga and posture alignment.
Take part in a meditative walk through the lotus labyrinth, join a Thai cooking class and learn the art of aromatherapy from the award-winning Banyan Tree spa team.
Bang Tao beach is just a short distance from the resort and you can explore the lagoons by paddleboard, kayak or three-wheel water bike.
Sustainability activities guests can participate in include planting a tree, alms giving (giving food to monks), teaching English to a local community and beach cleaning. The villas are free of single use plastic and all amenities shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and body lotion are by the Banyan Tree's house brand ESSENTIALS which averages 80% organic ingredients, is not tested on animals and free of sulphates.
The Rangers Club kids' club is open each day from 10am to 6pm and offers a range of fun and creative activities for your little ones. For children aged five and up, they offer everything from swimming lessons and Zumba to umbrella painting. For those below the age of five, there's an indoor soft play area and an outdoor playground.
A range of outdoor activities are available for all the family to enjoy. Children’s activities, perfect for those aged 5 and upwards, immerse them into the sights, sounds, tastes and smells of Thailand.
