Brazilian Falls, Iguaçu
Drive through the emerald forests of Iguaçu National Park on your way to the awe-inspiring falls. Enjoy panoramic views from the Brazilian side of the border as you follow the trail down into the canyon. Corcovado and Sugar Loaf
Discover two of Rio’s most spectacular landmarks. Travel by train across urban forest and climb to the top of Corcovado Hill. Ascend several flights of steps to Christ the Redeemer, a spectacular art deco statue that towers above Rio. After lunch head back towards Copacabana and hop on a cable car to the top of Sugar Loaf Mountain to enjoy breathtaking panoramic views over the city. Due to popularity, Corcovado and Sugar Loaf Muontain must both be pre-booked.
Manaus City Tour
Begin discovering the highlights of the Amazon’s largest city with a visit to the Municipal Market to browse the stalls which offer regional products. Pass the Government Palace and view the nearby creek to see typical houses built on stilts. Continue to the Floating Dock to observe life on the river before discovering the splendour of the recently restored Amazon Opera House.
Meeting of the Waters
This guided motorised canoe tour departs from Manaus and offers the chance to witness one of the Amazon’s most fascinating natural wonders. The ‘Meeting of the Waters’ is a remarkable confluence of contrasts where the light-coloured waters of the Solimões River meet the dark waters of the Rio Negro, flowing parallel for several miles without mixing and creating a unique natural spectacle.
