Rhino Ridge Safari Lodge
Connection and community
Rhino Ridge was the first private lodge in the Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Park.
Rhino Ridge Safari Lodge was built on Mpembeni land whose community are part shareholders of the lodge. It’s this unique relationship which makes this place so special.
The lodge is perched above the treetops, overlooking undulating hills, the river and waterholes. Rhino Ridge is slick yet seamlessly fits into the scenery with light-wood panels, local craftwork and a palette that mimics the savannah. It’s the perfect place to decompress after game drives. The infinity pool seems to topple off into the savannah and the spa overlooking the waterhole is the perfect antidote to a day spent on safari.
Why we love Rhino Ridge Safari Lodge
-
There are a variety of ecosystems including wetland, woodland, grassland and open savannah
-
The two honeymoon villas are spectacular, each with a plunge pool on the private deck
-
There is a special bottle of wine that whenever one is purchased, a percentage goes to the anti-poaching unit
-
Signature treatment sat the spa include the Rhino Rumble and the Warthog Wallow
