1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge
Environment-first philosophy
Quite simply, 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge is one of the best places in New York to admire the entire Manhattan skyline, and the fact you can do it from its rooftop pool makes it an extra memorable experience.
1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge could wax lyrical about its gorgeously appointed guestrooms (all luxe mahogany, glass, and marble), superb restaurants (quite the celeb-spotting scene), and that sensational L-shaped pool (a picture paints a thousand words). But it’s just as proud of its stellar sustainability credentials. It would be remiss not to mention the hotel’s excellent location. If it were any other hotel on this spot, it would be its greatest asset. At the Dumbo end of Brooklyn Bridge, Manhattan is a brisk walk or cycle over the East River. But there’s so much this side of the river, you’ll be forgiven for not making it over the water. Stroll the tree-lined streets of Brooklyn Heights, or for an edgier scene, explore Williamsburg.
Why we love 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge
-
For a city hotel, the sustainability initiatives are impressive
-
You are perfectly placed to explore the waterfront and Manhattan's attractions are just across the bridge
-
During the summer, take in the Manhattan skyline from the rooftop pool
-
Arrange a tour further afield in the hotel's electric Audi

Also nestled amongst greenery, Harriet's Lounge serves drinks whilst in the summer months Harriet's Rooftop is the place to head. For quick bites, salads, coffees and fresh juices, then head to Neighbors.

Soothing sensibility spills over into the Bamford Wellness Spa, a haven for mind, body, and soul. Using natural and organic ingredients, holistic treatments and hammam floatation therapies will help you switch off from the hustle and bustle of the city outside. Restless type? Then the well-equipped gym and timetable of complimentary group fitness classes have you covered.
Take a stroll through the Botanical Gardens, walk into Manhattan across Brooklyn Bridge or head to The Osprey on Fridays and Saturdays to listen to local musicians or vinyl sets from the DJ.
During the summer months, cool off with a swim in the rooftop pool or just admire the Manhattan skyline from the water.
This is a place that was built from all regional, reclaimed, or recycled materials. It operates on wind power, reuses rainwater, and shuns plastic bottles - a mere glimpse into its roster of sustainability initiatives.
