A laidback beach retreat with great food, friendly service and seasonal whale-watching opportunities.
Originally designed to resemble a ship, Trinco Blu by Cinnamon has since had a redesign but maintains its retro-chic appeal with stylish décor and furnishings. The east coast is seasonally frequented by both whales and dolphins and during this time the resort offers daily sightseeing trips out onto the water. Combine with this its excellent beach and smiling service and you can’t go wrong.
Why we love Trinco Blu by Cinnamon
-
It’s set on a peaceful stretch of white sand that’s perfect for relaxing evening strolls or tranquil morning jogs
-
Guests of all ages will appreciate the appealingly casual and relaxed atmosphere
-
It’s great for wildlife watching, with boat trips to see whales in season and the possibility of spotting dolphins from the beach
-
At the resort’s seafood eatery, you can enjoy a meal featuring whatever you helped a local fisherman catch the day before
This resort has earned internationally recognised certification that conform to standards set by the Global Sustainable Tourism Council.
Rooms
The 81 rooms are bright, airy and comfortably furnished with splashes of bright blues and vibrant oranges. Superior Rooms look out over the main resort, so if you want to walk straight out onto the sand, a Beach Chalet may suit you better, or upgrade to a Suite for a little more luxury.
For couples, the Beach Chalets offer a real feeling of privacy and a terrace from which to gaze at the ocean.
Facilities
An all-day buffet restaurant is complemented by a beachside seafood venue and an inviting bar.
Captain’s Table
The sociable main restaurant offers buffet fare throughout the day in a relaxed atmosphere. The food is excellent, so make the most of the glorious spreads and perhaps visit one of the live cooking stations.
The Crab
The open-air speciality restaurant serves an array of crab signature dishes as well as other seafood favourites.
Rum Hold
Once you’re done with dinner, make Rum Hold your next stop for a fruity cocktail or another drink and relax in casual comfort.
Be sure not to miss dining on the deck or with your toes in the sand at the signature seafood restaurant, with its array of special crab dishes.
