A single restaurant serves a terrific variety of dishes. For a special occasion, try the Beach Grill, where candlelit tables are set up on the sand.

The Island Gallery
Serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffet-style with Mediterranean-inspired dishes. Live cooking stations serve fresh local fish and pasta, and a pizzaiolo bakes fresh, authentic Italian pizza.

Mvua Spa may only have two treatment rooms, but there’s an impressive choice of therapies and treatments that belies its size. There’s also an outdoor massage area. There’s an air-conditioned gym.

Qualified instructors are on hand to help beginners and pros alike. The resort is close to famous dive sites, considered some of the best in the Maldives.

The house reef snorkelling is excellent, and you can take a traditional Dhoni boat to a nearby sandbank to explore a coral reef further afield. Sunset snorkelling is popular, too.
