Shahpura House

A haveli-style hotel with royal flair

Converted from a once palatial residence, Shahpura House is built around a series of traditional chowks or courtyards.

This luxury heritage hotel is packed with elaborate features and even new room additions have been lovingly created in keeping with the original style of the palace. Expect tapestries, hand-painted frescoes, marble floors and haveli-style lattices throughout. The corridors are filled with photos of times gone-by and provide a history of the property and how it has evolved. An outdoor pool and small spa provide areas to relax in.

Why we love Shahpura House

  • During Holi, Diwali and Gangaur festivals, guests can celebrate with the family joining in with their prayers, dances and feasts

  • Don’t miss a photo opportunity in the Durbar Hall, where royal courts were once held

  • Unwind with the bath tub experience, the claw-footed bath is drawn for you and filled with aromatic oils and petals

  • Witness a traditional folk dance by local performers
