Located close to Kanha National Park, Singinawa Jungle Lodge has a wonderful natural setting.
Boasting 100 acres, wherever you are in the property you feel like you’re in the middle of a forest. Singinawa offers an experience similar to an African safari lodge. Taking a 4x4 safari into Kanha National Park is a thrilling experience as you drive through the sal forests and open grasslands in the anticipation of seeing a tiger, sloth bear or wild dog. Back at the lodge you can explore the local ecosystem with a naturalist guide, cool off in the swimming pool or unwind at the spa. The traditional décor is enhanced with local fabrics and animal artwork. Authentic Indian barbecues are often served in a beautiful lantern-lit setting around the campfire, a great way to meet other guests and share your wildlife encounters.

Facilities
There are plenty of places to dine but the bush dinners in the boma are quite special offering a traditional Indian barbecue with meat and locally picked vegetables flavoured in a wood fired stove. Dinners are also set up under a large banyan tree decorated with hanging lanterns and candles.
Between activities, you may wish to unwind with a swim in the pool surrounded by nature or make a visit to the Meadow Spa where therapists from the local village offer treatments and reflexology.
As well as 4x4 safaris into Kanha National Park in search of tiger, you can join a naturalist guide for a walk and see the tribal art work at the Kanha Museum of Life & Art.
The Singinawa Conservation Foundation was created as 'protectors of the sacred forest'. They work closely with the tribal communities and the park authorities to conserve the ecosystem. They have planted 30,000 trees and solar lighting is used along the pathways. Water holes have been created in the buffer zone and they have facilitated health camps for the villages.
Children are welcome at Singinawa and during their stay they will get involved in traditional games, learn how to identify track marks, make kites and fly them. They also provide baby sitters, cots for infants and special food for children.
