Half Board • Breakfast and dinner at the Ocean Buffet Restaurant • Dinner can also be taken at Mama Mia and Casa das Espetadas, on the Half Board Menu (excludes the à la carte menu; reservations required; subject to availability and opening days vary). • Guests can also receive a credit towards dinner from the à la carte menus in these restaurants, or exchange dinner for lunch at Sabor a Mar where a credit will be given towards the à la carte menu.

Thalasso Sea Spa focuses on Thalassotherapy treatments combined with personalised massages. Experience the natural rejuvenating and healing properties of sea water. Facilities include a Thalasso vitality pool, steamroom, sauna, Vichy showers, and both indoor and outdoor relaxation areas with sea view. Try the Silky Skin treatment – a full body exfoliation followed by luxurious body lotion that leaves your skin feeling baby-soft or opt for a massage with ocean views.

There are two squash courts and guests can join hydrogymnastic classes in the pool or take part in a Zumba, salsa or Latin dance sessions.

Each of the three swimming pools have views of the ocean. The largest has a vast sea platform with direct access to the ocean and sun terrace.

This hotel has abolished single-use plastic straws, plastic water bottles and plastic cutlery and plates. Most lighting comes from energy-efficiency LED bulbs and renewable electricity is used throughout.

The Aquatica Kids World takes care of children from the age of 3 to 11. They will be kept entertained with a daily schedule of activities including games, crafts, sports and water activities.

It's a short drive to the Palheiro Golf Course and Santo da Serra Golf Courses.

The hotel's restaurants and bars are wheelchair accessible; the outdoor pool is accessible by stairs with a rail.

There are three wheelchair accessible rooms on the 3rd and 4th floors (reception and street level are also on the 4th floor).
