This boutique hotel, in an impeccably restored Liberty-style building, offers fresh contemporary accommodation in Verona’s historic centre.
Occupying a handsome Art Nouveau building dating from the 1920s, and extensively renovated and remodelled inside in the past few years, Hotel Touring is a far smarter proposition than its three-star rating would suggest. Its location is ideal: in a quiet tucked-away corner in one of the oldest districts of Verona, yet only a leisurely stroll from Piazza delle Erbe and other must-see sights. In its heyday, the small albergo attracted celebrities, artists and other famous creatives of the Belle Epoque. Nowadays it appeals to those who want to immerse themselves in the city and appreciate having somewhere airy, restful and welcoming in the middle of it as their base.
Why we love Hotel Touring Verona
-
With just 32 rooms and charmingly personal service, you’ll feel as if you’re staying in a private house rather than a hotel
-
It’s in the heart of Verona, a short walk from Piazza delle Erbe and the city’s main attractions, plus bars, shops and restaurants
-
The 100-year-old Belle Epoque building has a rich history all of its own that’s well worth learning more about
-
The chic minimalist rooms are a welcome surprise in such a historic building and come with lots of contemporary facilities
Rooms
The building may be almost 100 years old, but you wouldn’t know it in the 32 bright, modern and minimalist rooms, complete with LED lighting, super-sleek bathrooms and designer touches. The Executive Rooms are comfortable if compact, though they don’t feel it. There’s a little more floor area in the Deluxe Rooms, along with more natural light and a balcony. The largest option is the Romantic Junior Suite; with its whirlpool bath and colour therapy shower, also known as an emotional shower, the bathroom is your own personal spa. It’s worth upgrading to the Romantic Junior Suite just for the luxurious bathroom.
Facilities
There’s just an all-day American bar for restorative drinks and a breakfast room, but you’ll find a wide choice of restaurants within walking distance.
Breakfast Room A buffet breakfast, with hot and cold options, is served every morning in the simple breakfast room on the ground floor.
Bar The small American-style bar is just off the lobby and is open all day.
If you’ve been walking all day, a cocktail in the airy bar is a great way to set yourself up for the evening’s adventures.
Whats Included
