Offering an incredible all-inclusive package, the all-new Ikos Odisia is a fresh addition to Corfu’s beautiful Dassia Bay.
Joining sister hotel Ikos Dassia on the sweeping Dassia Bay is the brand new Ikos Odisia. This eye-catching addition is hidden away in 60 acres of woodland-cloaked grounds and, thanks to its peninsula setting, surrounded by the jewel-toned Ionian Sea on two sides. Days here can be as full (or empty) as you choose. There are more heated pools than days of the week and a glorious 420-metre stretch of golden sand, all with straight-to-your-lounger service, so you barely need to move a muscle. Unless you want to, of course; the list of included activities is extensive and includes both fun on the water and land. One of the highlights is the complimentary Local Drive Adventure – a self-drive day of Corfu exploration giving you the chance to get to know this stunning island on your own terms.
Why we love Ikos Odisia
-
It’s a fresh, ultra-sleek resort located on a pristine beach just across from Ikos Dassia.
-
The resort’s Infinite Lifestyle offering includes an extensive list of activities, from non-motorised watersports to tennis, yoga, biking and beyond. The Local Drive Adventure gives you a complimentary car for a day, and you’ll also get a Culture Pass providing free entry to several nearby attractions.
-
There are kids’ clubs to cater to every age, from babies to teens, and there’s a beach childcare service for parents wanting some alone time, with half an hour provided for free.
-
The food is exceptional, with two restaurants devised by Michelin-starred chefs, and under the Dine Out programme, you’ll get to eat at selected local restaurants for no extra cost.
This resort has earned internationally recognised certification that conform to standards set by the Global Sustainable Tourism Council.
Rooms
The 390 rooms and suites are a wonderful haven with light pouring in through floor-to-ceiling doors and soothing neutral décor, plush soft furnishings: think minimalist design framing the lush greens and blues of the natural world outside. The luxury accommodation at Ikos Odisia come with a choice of private pools, gardens, terraces, and balconies, offering garden, pool or sea views. If you’re travelling with kids, there are Family Rooms with a pool view as well as Deluxe Two Bedroom Suites, the latter of which are in the Deluxe Collection area. These stand-apart suites have plenty of extra benefits including access to an exclusive pool and part of the beach, a welcome bottle of Taittinger Champagne upon arrival, a special dinner on the sand for two and two neck and back massages per room per stay.
Facilities
The Infinite Lifestyle inclusions extend to each of the resort’s restaurants and beyond. Alongside the main buffet venue, Flavors, there are five à la carte options, from modern Greek cuisine at Ouzo to Italian dishes at Fresco. There are several bars too, serving mixologist-made cocktails accompanied by live music and starry skies. As a real bonus, the Dine Out concept means you can head out to some of the best local eateries in the area for no extra cost.
Anaya
Developed in collaboration with Chef Thiou, a master of creating Thai cuisine with European produce, this innovative Asian restaurant serves curries, noodle dishes and seafood in atmospheric surroundings; try the hand-made ravioli with crayfish, coconut milk and lime sauce for one of the real standouts.
Elia
Indulge in local island flavours in a family-friendly environment at this delightful ocean-facing restaurant, offering unbeatable views over the Ionian Sea.
Fresco
Head here for tasteful pizzas, risottos and pasta dishes devised by Corfu-born Ettore Botrini, a Michelin-starred chef who’s been at the helm of some of the world’s leading restaurants.
Oliva
Enjoy richly seasoned Spanish cuisine against an ocean backdrop at this relaxed restaurant, serving authentic tapas, tempting paellas and a host of seafood, meat and vegetarian mains.
Ouzo
With a menu created by Michelin-star-winning chef Lefteris Lazarou, this fine-dining spot puts the emphasis on fresh local ingredients and seafood cooked to order (there’s also a range of vegetarian and vegan options available).
Flavors
Enjoy Mediterranean-style buffets full of fresh produce and mouthwatering dishes at breakfast, lunch and dinner here. It’s open throughout the night, just in case you fancy a midnight snack.
Azul
Let the Latin flavours and vibrant but chic decor tantalise your senses at this Peruvian inspired restaurant that aims to bring the heart and passion to your gastronomy experience.
Sea Grill
Sit with the sand between your toes and the sun beaming on your face whilst you feat on succulent prawns and meat that have been freshly grilled on the BBQ at this beachfront kiosk.
It has to be Ouzo, whose innovative Greek dishes are devised by Michelin-starred chef Lefteris Lazarou; try the mini beef kebabs or Corfian ‘Mpourdeto’ with red snapper, raisins and pine nuts.
