Grecotel Eva Palace, Luxury Beach Resort

A secluded retreat in Corfu’s picturesque Kommeno Bay

Escape it all at this dreamy hillside hideout with romantic suites and villas overlooking the ocean and mountains.

It’s all about the views at Grecotel Eva Palace. Flower-filled gardens wrap around gleaming pools, cascading down to a pale turquoise bay; infinity-edge pools merge with the horizon; and tiered dining terraces are poised on a lofty plateau, 30ft above the Ionian Sea. Sunbeds can be found at the secluded beach, where azure waters lap a strip of silver sand with mountain views behind. There’s a wide choice of accommodation too, and the dining scene is excellent with local, seasonal ingredients at the heart and credit included for selected restaurants around the peninsula.

Why we love Grecotel Eva Palace, Luxury Beach Resort

  • It’s ideally located in peaceful Kommeno Bay on Corfu’s east coast. Lively Dassia and historic Gouvia are 10 minutes away, while Corfu Town and Aqualand waterpark are close by too.

  • It’s great for families with a kids’ club, playground and wide choice of family-friendly accommodation.

  • There’s a generous choice of dining with six excellent restaurants and bars. You can also eat at the nearby Grecotel Corfu Imperial Hotel, or choose from one of several selected restaurants around the peninsula if you opt for the Comfort All-In package.

  • Perfect for couples, the Elixir Rooftop Love Spa has Aphrodite-inspired treatments using rose and myrtle.

Dining at Eva Palace embraces the Mediterranean lifestyle: long, leisurely feasts served al fresco, with beautiful views and a focus on local, seasonal ingredients. There are three restaurants and three bars, and guests can dine at Grecotel Corfu Imperial Hotel for no extra cost (bookings required). As a bonus, you’ll also get set credit to use at a selection of à la carte restaurants around the peninsula, giving you a chance to explore beyond the resort too.

La Contessa
Pick a table on the tiered stone terrace here for Mediterranean buffet lunches and à la carte dinners with a spectacular sea view. The menu trots blithely around the globe, with cuisine that matches up to the setting.

Mediterraneo
Take in the island-dotted horizon from your rattan scoop chair as you feast on international buffet dishes here, featuring a flower-lined veranda poised high above a cove.

Steak & Sushi
Chefs draw on the bounty of the sea and land to prepare the likes of sashimi, nigiri and the finest beef cuts around at this decadent, colonnaded restaurant. It opens onto the pool terrace, where white-linen tables are arranged around the lantern-lit water. Reservations are required.

Serenissima Bellini Bar
This elegant bar spills out onto an open-sided terrace, with fuchsia-pink flowers cascading over the wrought-iron balcony. Live music sets a relaxed mood for evening cocktails looking out over the bay – best enjoyed at sunset.

Pool Bar
Cool down with a refreshing drink or fuel up with a snack at this casual bar, which offers beautiful views over the turquoise pool and Ionian Sea beyond.

Beach Bar
Watch the sky turn rose at sunset from this laid-back beach bar, serving light snacks and cocktails with a soundtrack of rolling waves.

All of the food is great here, but we especially love Steak & Sushi thanks to its exceptional menu and romantic setting around the lantern-lit pool.
