Manchebo Beach Resort & Spa

Where every day feels like a Sunday

This small slice of heaven on Aruba’s most coveted beach pulls in a stylish crowd looking for peace, quiet and a path to pure relaxation.

The concept here is hard to beat: a whisper quiet retreat focused on wellness and set on Aruba’s stunning Eagle Beach. This is a place to start your day with French toast, fizz and a complimentary beachfront yoga class before slinking over to the freshwater pool or the close-as-can-be warm white sands. Restaurants are a highlight too: the finest cuts of beef at The Chophouse, sashimi at the sushi bar and poke bowls at Pega Pega beneath a palapa on the beach. Thatched roof spa cabanas peek out to the Caribbean Sea and elegant rooms are hidden away between banana plants or oceanfront with dreamy views of palm trees and beach.

Why we love Manchebo Beach Resort & Spa

  • A relaxed approach to wellbeing with free yoga, Pilates and Qigong classes as well as personal trainers on request.

  • A sophisticated set of restaurants: a Japanese sushi bar, an elegant steakhouse and an open-air beachside grill.

  • All day beach cocktail service; try classic Caribbean cocktails and milkshakes spiked with spirits.

A resort that always receives rave reviews for its food, things here are kept stylish with a chic main restaurant, a classic steakhouse and a swish sushi bar. Menus feature fresh and locally sourced ingredients with a focus on seafood and the finest cuts of meat. Beachside dining is just as blissful at Pega Pega, where the menu comes with everything from quesadillas and cocktails to tropical fruit plates and milkshakes.

Ike’s Bistro
Named after the resort’s founder, Ike’s Bistro is set in a beautiful open-sided thatched building held up by Caribbean coral stone columns and lit by driftwood chandeliers. Open for breakfast and dinner, the morning menu includes fresh fruit smoothies, French toast and eggs any style whilst evenings bring tender cuts of beef, seafood broths and Caribbean red snapper to the table.

The Chophouse at Manchebo
A warm and intimate venue, The Chophouse sets the standard for fine dining on Eagle Beach, serving up the finest cuts of beef alongside freshly caught seafood and a daily chef special.

Omakase Japanese Sushi Bar
Set within The Chophouse, Omakase is where well-honed sushi chefs treat guests to nigiri, sashimi and sake. This stylish spot comes with a ‘Let the chef decide’ option, a mouthwatering four course menu chosen for its seasonality.

Pega-Pega Beach Bar & Gill
Here you’ll find tables on the terrace and the option to stick an orange stake in the sand for service on the beach. Open from noon until 10.30 pm, the menu is a mix of tropical cocktails, fruity smoothies, light bites, burgers and poke bowls. Cool down with classic Caribbean cocktails and feed a sweet tooth with tropical fruit plates and key lime pie.
