Reminiscent of a Cape Dutch-style farmhouse, Elewana The Manor at Ngorongoro is an elegant stately home in the Ngorongoro Highlands. Set within a 1500-acre Arabica coffee estate, the accommodation is some of the most lavish on the safari circuit. Days on the estate can be spent horse riding (The Manor has its own stables), mountain biking, enjoying picnic lunches in the grounds, or indulging with a deep tissue massage.
Recommended day trips from The Manor include game drives into the Ngorongoro Crater – a UNESCO World Heritage Site that’s home to the densest concentration of wildlife in Africa – and a visit to lovely Lake Manyara.
