Pepperclub Hotel & Spa

A fresh urban retreat

A warm welcome awaits at Pepperclub located at the base of Table Mountain.

A magnet for those who like their city hotel chic and stylish, this hotel has a central Cape Town location with direct access through its own palm-lined courtyard to Long Street – where you can wander around its beautifully restored Victorian buildings, vintage bookstores and heady mix of bohemian-style restaurants and bars. There's a complimentary shuttle service to the V&A Waterfront where you can take a harbour cruise or catch the ferry to Robben Island.

The chilled-out mood continues with a retro cinema where weekly movie nights are held but guests can also slink down on any day to watch a film. Up on the 8th floor, Pepperclub makes the most of those iconic views with a petite rooftop pool, gym and spa that looks out over Table Mountain.

Why we love Pepperclub Hotel & Spa

  • The hotel is close to Long Street and Bree Street – the heart of Cape Town's foodie scene

  • There are views of Table Mountain from many of the rooms, the spa and pool

  • During the summer they offer a shuttle service to Camps Bay, where you can relax on the beach

  • Seating just 29 guests, enjoy a movie night in the hotel's retro cinema

The creative aesthetic design makes its way down to COPA Restaurant where sassy copper furnishings and cream sofas make up an inviting bistro style hangout serving the likes of seared ostrich, roasted vegetable salads and decadent desserts. Ruby’s Bakery & Café, is a kooky pit stop for coffee on the go or to sit down with cakes and cold-pressed juices.\

COPA Restaurant
There's a crafted seasonal menu that showcases local flavours with a strong Cape Malay influence.

Ruby's Bakery & Café
Stop by for breakfast, lunch and freshly baked cakes and pastries throughout the day.

Paparazzi Bar & Lounge
Serving signature cocktails in a stylish setting.

The traditional Cape Malay chicken curry served with tomato, red onion and coriander salsa, cucumber raita, roti, lemon and almond-scented rice and spiced poppadum is a particularly popular dish at COPA Restaurant.

Take in the views of Table Mountain as you are pampered in the Cayenne Spa or work out in the gym. Treatments at the spa used Africology products.

This is a good base to explore Cape Town's attractions and there's a summer shuttle to the beach at Camps Bay. The V&A Waterfront and Table Mountain are a 15-minute taxi drive away. Back at the hotel, you can watch a movie in the intimate and retro cinema.

Weekends can be busy in the surrounding area especially from December to February.
